Avoid picking at your skin or using abrasive skincare products like scrubs for at least 72 hours after your treatment. It is normal to experience slight redness after a facial, redness and swelling after micro needling. 

1. Always wear a broad spectrum, high factor sun protection (SPF 50) on the face, neck, décolletage and hands

2. Don’t exercise for 24 hours. 

3. Don’t drink alcohol for 24 hours as this can increase the risk of bruising.

4. Avoid exposing your skin to heat, especially saunas, during the initial period when there may be swelling and redness.

5. Don’t touch or massage your face for at least 12 hours after a treatment.

6. You may gently apply a cool compress to any red or swollen areas for the first 48 hours to help decrease the swelling more quickly. 

7. You may require further treatment to obtain the desired results. You may be offered a follow up appointment for 4 weeks after your initial procedure

8. Please do not wear your normal make up for 12 hours with the exception of Oxygenetix, Exuviance or other post surgical make up.
